The Exploration Place is hosting the international traveling exhibit called Wild Weather. It will be open for anyone with paid general admission to the Exploration Place in Wichita, Kansas from September 28, 2019 – January 5, 2020. Kansas’ own Storm Defense Shelters is proud to help sponsor this incredible interactive display of wacky and extreme weather. What better place than Kansas to showcase wild weather events? Bring the whole family to experience and learn more about our incredible ever-changing weather.

This amazing exhibit allows you to immerse yourself in extreme weather conditions in a safe controlled environment. What a great way to educate the youngest to the oldest about various weather events- what causes them and how to keep safe in them while promoting a healthy curiosity for meteorology. Fly through a hurricane, swirl along a tornadoes’ path, track turbulent cloud formations, map lightning strikes, and stand in the midst of a raging winter storm! Plus, go behind-the-scenes with meteorologists, simmer in sizzling heatwaves, chill out in plummeting temperatures and much more.

Bring your family, your classroom, your school, your group and enjoy the Wild Weather exhibit and the Exploration Place. Eric Stolfi, from Defense Storm Shelters, is very excited about being a part of this three-month educational fun exhibit. Storm Defense Shelters takes its mission of keeping Kansans safe in extreme weather and that includes education and precautions.

Storm Defense Shelters will have one of their Shelter Beds on display at the Wild Weather exhibit. This is the latest most innovative storm shelters available today. It was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank and is one of the most accessible FEMA approved shelters to date. It is out of sight under your twin, full, queen or king-sized bed until danger approaches. Then it raises up to provide complete safety through an EF5 tornado or hurricane force winds.

Don’t miss the Wild Weather international traveling exhibit while it is in Kansas September 28, 2019- January 5, 2020. It is open from Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM- 5 PM and Sundays noon – 5 PM. Check the website for a schedule of some Mondays that are open.  Come encounter wild weather and look for Storm Defense Shelters’ Under Bed Shelter (as seen on Shark Tank). It is just one of the many incredible shelters Storm Defense Shelters offers to keep homes, schools, businesses and communities safe in Kansas’ wild weather.
