The Concrete Flat Top Shelter is installed below ground for maximum safety. There is no berm in your yard as there is with the Slope Front unit. We remove all the excess dirt from the installation process at no additional charge. The Flat Top Shelter has a built-in handrail with five non slip steps for easy access.
Our Flat Top shelter sits flush to the ground. It was tested at Texas Tech to meet /Exceed FEMA protocols 320, 361 and ICC 500. You and your loved ones can rest assured of its protection in the fiercest tornado. It comes equipped with a 8 inch wind turbine and 6 inch ventilation vent.
