Kansas Concrete Slope Front Storm Shelter

8″ Wind Turbine and 6″ Vent for Ventilation
Reinforced with steel rebar, fiber mesh and poured with a minimum of 6000 lb psi concrete

Concrete Slope Front Shelter

One of most popular Tornado shelters we install in Kansas is the Concrete Slope Front Shelter. Tested and certified by Texas Tech to meet or exceed FEMA 320, 361, and ICC 500 protocols, this underground safe room will protect you and your loved ones from the fiercest tornado or straight wind damage at a competitive price.

Once the best placement on your property is decided upon for the quickest access during threatening weather conditions, we check for any underlying utility lines before digging. Our experienced crew uses professional equipment to carefully dig out the hole for the shelter. The soil from the hole is used to berm around the exterior of the shelter for added safety.  Any unused fill will be taken away. The Slope Front Shelter is made of reinforced steel rebar, fiber mesh and poured with a minimum of 600- lb psi concrete. As an extra option, we can even add your choice of decorative staining or stamping to blend beautifully with your landscape.

The Concrete Front Slope Shelter has five non-slip steps with a handrail for safe access. It is equipped with an 8” wind turbine and 6-inch vent for ventilation inside the shelter.  Our Concrete Slope Front Shelter comes with a ten-year warranty against leaking or floating.  This is the perfect time to provide full protection for you and your loved ones during the dangerous storms that sweep across Kansas.
